"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching foreward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:13-14)."
For the people of God, Please pray for this mature Mind throughout 2021, Amen.
In the book of Philippians, Paul gives us an example of how he sees his past life while speaking to the Philippians. I'll pray the we all will consider this example of Paul as we move into the year 2021. "If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee, concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that whish is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by Faith; that i may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering, being conformed to His death, If, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead (Phil. 3:4b-11)."
We should be striving daily to have the fullness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches us to continue to live our lives in Christ.
"So then as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. " Col. 2:6-10 (NIV)
